A Weekend Away with the NewlyWives

Happy Monday!  Today is going to be a rough day for both Emily and I; we are both recovering from weekends away.  It all started on Wednesday night when the NorCal and SoCal parts of NewlyWife reunited at my house.  It was great to see Emily, and I was excited that she finally got to see my house!  We spent Thursday at Disneyland and Friday through Sunday in San Diego.  My little brother graduated from Point Loma — he is the last of us four cousins to graduate from college.  It was great to see my whole family (minus a few) and enjoy the nice weather in San Diego.  I wanted to share a few pictures from Disneyland with you, and let you join in on the fun.  I will also post some pictures from San Diego later this week.

That’s my Mom and me — wine tasting in Disney’s California Adventure on Wednesday. We were celebrating my Dad’s Birthday, but he has the pictures of us.  So maybe he will have to guest post — or just email them to me!

The Newly Wives take Disneyland!

Me and my Matt (our last name starts with N).

On the new Toy Story Mania ride.  That was lots of fun!

In front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

Emily was really excited about the newly finished Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Looking at one of the scenes from Sleeping Beauty.

Once the day was over, the boys were excited to leave.

And then sad when we said we needed to go back and get something, haha.

  1. Looks like a fun trip…was your Mom celebrating something special with you at Disneyland?

  2. I can’t believe you actually got my brother to go to Disneyland. Minor miracle:)
