We’re officially official! It’s been several long months in the making, but NewlyWife is finally here. A little over a year ago, I told Megan about this idea to blog and build a community for the new wives out there. Websites and forums were so helpful for us in the wedding planning process, but there wasn’t much out there after you say “I do.” Thankfully, she agreed to join in and we now have a couple of perspectives to share.
Being a wife is nothing new, but it’s difficult to figure out what this new role means for us. The world is ever-changing and now we’re left to figure out how to handle all that life throws at us. Sometimes we may be akin to June Cleaver, while at other times we’re juggling an iPhone, take-out dinner and a pile of laundry, smiling through clenched teeth. We at NewlyWife don’t claim perfection — far from it sometimes! — we just set out to share our journeys and create a community for others.
To celebrate the launch of our project, we’re having our first giveaway: a honeymoon scrapbooking kit!
I received one as a present and loved it so much that I thought you would love it as well. It has 20 pages with 12 page layout ideas and dimensional stickers. Even if you’re not married or planning to be any time soon, it would make a great gift.
There are three ways to enter:

- Blog about the contest with a link to this page. Then comment to tell us you have done this.
Giveaway ends at noon Friday, Feb. 12. Entries must contain a valid email address so that we can contact the one winner, who will be selected at random. Up to three entries per person. Sorry, this is only open to residents of the United States.

Emily! This blog is a greeeat idea!! Totally an adjustment and new things to learn being a new wife! Garrett and I went to Bali, Indonesia for our honeymoon! Such a great spot for an adventurous couple!….elephant rides, beach, surfing, exploring rice paddies, monkey forests, dolphin watching, fresh grilled fish sunset dinners on the beach! I’d totally recommend it….and it’s cheaP!!
Bryan and I just got back from a cruise to Mexico:) We swam with the dolphins and toured the cities:)
