Sausage Balls Recipe

Stop your snickering. I know you are. I totally am. I am also wondering what kind of hit we are going to get for this post title. Weird. Anywho, I ate these at my friend’s house last year for Christmas. So stinkin good. I made them for the Superbowl this year! Yeah baby! Sidenote, we did not actually watch the Superbowl this year, but we brought superbowl food to church. haha.

Sausage Balls
from my dear friend Lorene

  • 3 cups Bisquick
  • 1 pound hot Sausage (raw)
  • 1 pound Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • Water

Mix together the first three ingredients. Add water until it is moist and holds together. Form into balls. Bake on cookie sheet at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. You can then freeze and store in a plastic bag (if need be).

The cheese gets melty and amazing and the flavors of sausage and biscuit meld together wonderfully. Please make these. You will be glad you did. Trust me!
